What this is

Uploading means taking a file from your device
and putting it somewhere online.

Try this

  1. Think of a file on your computer
  2. Imagine sending it somewhere
  3. That action is called uploading

What this is

Most websites use a button to start uploading.

Try this

  1. Look for a button that says Upload, Attach, or Add file
  2. Click it once
  3. Wait for a window to open
If you see “Choose file,” that’s the right button.

What this is

After clicking upload, you pick the file you want.

  1. Look inside your Downloads or Documents

  3. Click Open

Sending usually means attaching a file to a message.
